In the info session the use of the process simulation tool ema Work Designer (emaWD) in the healthcare sector will be presented using various examples. emaWD supports digital work planning and prospective ergonomics as well as productivity assessment by providing an efficient and accurate approach to 3D human simulation of manual and semi-automated activities such as human-robot interactions.
In the first part, Michael Spitzhirn from imk presents the ema Work Designer software and discusses various projects in the healthcare sector using emaWD. You will learn how ema WD can be used to achieve ability-based and economical deployment.
In the second part, Prof. Lux, Professor of Process Management in Health Care, Faculty of Health Care and Head of the eHealth Competence Center at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, will present the use of digital technologies and emaWD using the example of the pre-medication process in a hospital. The link between 2D and 3D tools is also discussed. 2D and 3D tools should not be seen as competing, but as complementary.
