The IIC 2025 was once again dominated by the digital factory and Work planningthe virtual commissioning and innovative solutions for people, technology and production.
More than 200 participants attended the 13th IIC conference in Chemnitz from 24 - 25 September - organised by imk Industrial Intelligence together with EKS InTec. The event offered a varied programme with inspiring keynotes, practical specialist contributions, live demonstrations and interactive sessions.
Here are some impressions of the IIC 2025 for you:

A special highlight was the performance by "Spot"the robot dog from Boston Dynamicstogether with Kevin Maximilian Kron. Also the Keynote from Neura Robotics to the topic "Cognitive robots - getting AI to act physically" attracted a great deal of attention. It became clear how important the humanoid robot will increase in the future - and how great the demand in the industry already is today.
Equally impressive: the Pitch Session with subsequent Pitch coffee roundmoderated by Miriam Schleipen (EKS InTec). Here, experts from science and industry presented their current projects - from sustainable production about digital factory twins up to AI-supported automation. The format offered plenty of room for dialogue, brainstorming and new collaborations.
In addition to exciting presentations and insights into the latest features of the ema Software Suite and RF::Suite many visitors took the opportunity to talk to the exhibitors on site. The evening ended with a Social dinner in the panorama restaurant of the Congress Hotel Chemnitz - with a view over the city and in a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by the "Light our Vision Festival".
We would like to thank all participants, speakers and exhibitors for their contribution to an inspiring and successful IIC 2025 - and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
