imk Industrial Intelligence GmbH has been working with invenio VT in a technology partnership since 2019. invenio Virtual Technologies (VT) is a leader in the field of digital mock-up (DMU) and automates DMU, geometry and 3D processes in digital product development. ema powered by VT-DMU: Maximum efficiency in digital production planning
The partnership between invenio VT and imk is made possible by the open interfaces of both systems. The VT-DMU modules are seamlessly integrated into ema via APIs - an important step towards even closer co-operation in the future. Thanks to the collaboration, ema is already being supplemented with powerful modules from VT-DMU:
- Data reductionThe huge amounts of data generated during virtual production planning are automatically compressed and integrated directly into ema.
- Geometry comparisonDifferences between two data statuses of a simulation are precisely analysed, making it easier to track and evaluate changes.
Users can plan the production process and workplace layout in ema, while the intelligent VT algorithms process the data in the background.
