Aim of the training:

Participants learn how digital methods and tools can be used to systematically plan, analyse and optimise production systems and workstations - both from an economic and ergonomic perspective.

Digital work design - basics (2 hours):

You will learn what constitutes digital work design, how digital tools support planning and analysis and what challenges need to be considered.

Digital production and work planning with ema (7 hours):

Using a consistent, practical example, participants will learn how to use digital production planning with our instructors using the ema Software Suite:

At factory level, you will analyse throughput times, value stream design, costs and REFA-relevant key figures and derive specific design solutions. At process and workplace level, you examine and optimise workplaces and work processes in terms of ergonomics and times. The factories and workplaces created can also be inspected and tested in VR.
