Digital factory and work design with the ema Software Suite
9 hours | Practical | Digital & forward-looking
How can factories, work processes and workstations be designed to be efficient, ergonomic and future-proof? This training course offers a concise and practical introduction to digital work design – from the basics through to practical application using the ema Software Suite.
Aim of the training course
Participants will learn how to digital methods and tools can be used to systematically plan, analyse and optimise production systems and workstations – from both an economic and an ergonomic perspective.
Training content
You will learn what constitutes digital work design, how digital tools support planning and analysis and what challenges need to be considered.
Using a comprehensive, practical example, participants will work alongside our instructors to learn how to apply digital production planning using the ema Software Suite. On Plant level analyse lead times, value stream design, costs and REFA-relevant key performance indicators, and derive specific design solutions. On Process and workstation level You can analyse and optimise workstations and work processes in terms of ergonomics and time. The factories and workstations created can also be explored and tested in VR.
