The Compliance Days 2026 bring together occupational safety specialists, sustainability officers and those responsible for EHS and ESG management. Under the motto „Between the Elbe and Innovation“, the Chemnitz-based software company domeba invites you to the Ginn Hotel Hamburg Elbspeicher from 9 to 11 June 2026 to spend three days combining expertise, networking and inspiration on current topics such as AI, digitalisation and occupational safety.
Our colleague Michael Spitzhirn from imk Industrial Intelligence GmbH will be giving a presentation on this topic at the Compliance Days 2026:
„Good Ergonomics is Good Economics - Digital methods for designing efficient, ergonomic and safe work systems“
Ergonomics is often primarily associated with health protection and the reduction of physical strain. The presentation uses various practical examples from different industries to show that ergonomically designed workplaces can also create considerable economic added value. In addition to reducing sick days, ergonomic optimisations have a positive effect on quality, productivity, execution times as well as employee motivation and satisfaction.
Digital methods of factory and process planning can provide significant support here. The added value of process simulations and the use of digital human models and robotics to design efficient, ergonomic and safe workplaces will be demonstrated using various practical examples of the use of ema Work Designer. This allows risks to be recognised at an early stage, stress levels to be reduced and processes to be sustainably improved.
A look into the future of the world of work
In addition, current developments in the field of artificial intelligence, data platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, humanoid robots and exoskeletons will be analysed in the context of process simulation. Finally, their potential and added value for the planning and design of future working environments will be discussed.
